Combination Batch Blender/Transporters

Whirl-Air provides low shear air blending systems to very quickly blend multiple ingredients into a homogenious mix for delivery to single or multiple in-plant end use points. Blenders are available both as individual units with gravity discharge and with integrated transporters, combining blending and transport into one cost efficient unit.

In the system illustrated above, multiple ingredients are metered from three hoppers to a single air-blender, using screw conveyors of other volumetric feeders. Pneumatic blending provides thorough dust free mixing with extremely low shear in cycles of two to five minutes.
